What's the poem about?

A guy works a market stall on Saturdays. The poem is just him packing up at the end of the day — Terry telling the same stories he says everyday.


He's been there long enough to know Terry's stories by heart. But Terry still gets his name wrong.

Being around people isn't the same as being known by them.

He's absorbed everything — the work, the routines, Terry's stories word for word. He's put in the effort. But it only goes one way. Terry hasn't bothered to learn his name.
