I would recommend smth short and easy to follow like your lie in april, and if ur just starting anime short series are much better than movies or longer series

I’ve seen everything across every genre. Tbh, it’s just a waste of time and nothing but slop at the end of the day, and there are far more productive things you can do with your life than watch stuff like that. In any case..
It really depends on what you're looking for

A shorter anime or one with a lot of episodes?

Do you want action and fights, a slice-of-life/social story, or a mix of both?

Do you want something more childish, like it clearly seems made for teenagers, or a series with a mature plot and philosophy?

Do you prefer something realistic and grounded, or sci-fi with superpowers, magic, and all that stuff?

There are also sports anime, like basketball or football, that are really entertaining and pretty cool

So yeah, to give a proper recommendation, I also need to know roughly what you'd like to see
