How is this possible? My armpits have never smelled a day in my life. I did some research concluding that I have a genetic mutation in my ABCC11 gene. Apparently, this gene causes a certain chemical in sweat called 3-methyl-2 hexenoic acid which causes body odor. If I have a specific mutation, a single nucleotide called 538G to A then my sweat doesn't contain a smelly compound. Do y'all think this is true or what other reasons can make me not smell? I mean it's good that I have this gene but I'm genuinely curious.
