I’ve seen an increase in users wanting benzodiazepines (Xanax, Diazepam, etc.) for social anxiety, and I find that fucking insane

Benzos are used in short term relief for panic attacks, and insomnia. So to see forum users bring it up so casually is insane to me. You could end up addicted, or catch a criminal record, or worse, dead from withdrawals.

Benzos are the literal devil, so PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, do your research before you dabble in a new drug.

I’ve had my run-in with benzodiazepines and I can tell you that it was a really bad time in my life.

I went to a doctor for my insomnia and even though they said they don't want to give out prescriptions for sleeping meds, they said my case was severe enough for them to grant my request. Turns out I was given benzos. I haven't used them yet.

Socialising isn't that deep. I think if you're going to that extent you probably have an inferiority complex/there's something wrong with you and normies are going to reject their ass. I used to have the worst social anxiety but then I realised the consequences of thing going "wrong" was never that impactful, especially if I didn't not give a fuck about that person/clique. You just have to see if people reciprocate with you and if they don't then you just move on. Most normies will make it known whether they will reciprocate with you. And a lot of the time it's gonna be based of how you look and how open you are.

Yeah I get it it's just from my experience most social interactions from experience you can tell when there's interest from the other person and you go off that. Obviously it's hard to have things like humor being engaging to them but a lot of the time you're just talking about basic shit and cracking jokes and then later get onto deeper conversation.
