Hello, so pretty much Iโm kinda ethnic but Iโm mixed, so Iโm like 50% white (thankfully) and 50% Mexican, but I live with my mom only in a REALLY Mexican household with like 20 different other family members it feels like. Also they call me โwhiteboyโ like itโs an insult.
Anyways, I have this aunt who married and had 2 kids with this white man and lives by LA pretty much. During the summer I spent 1 month with them and that experience was BRUTAL.
โJBWโ is deeper than looks and just skin color. It affects family dynamics, cultural relations, mental health, and way more. Even if I changed my skin color and ethnic features I would still live in a Mexican household and shit. This is the harsh reality of being ethnic. White families are just more likely to have healthier relationships and dynamic bonds than ethnic families.
And during this trip to LA I was spending a month with my dream family a month in my own fantasy pretty much and living with a white family just grounded my beliefs even more.
White families arenโt even corny like how some other ethnics would say just to cope
. This wasnโt no Greg Heffley family. This was a cool, amazing, awesome family with perfect boundaries. The family could talk and joke about whatever they wanted to their parents. They could talk about love interests to their family. Their parents knew they did substances and they didnโt even care just joked about it. Both of the kids were NT as shit and both were popular at their school and both played sports and had relationships they were talking about.
โJBWโ isnโt just about the color of our skin but itโs about family and culture shit we will never truly live in. Most of us ethnics have to face the wrath of generations of ethnic rage and past ethnic trauma, unlike the whites who can just live comfortably.
This thread isnโt made to make anyone feel bad about their race, yet just me stating my feelings and opinions from the ethnic perspective
. Amen brotha.
