Jack wasn’t crying because he regretted what he had done. He didn’t regret any of the murders and sick twisted things he had done. His tears began to fall because he knew that he couldn’t go back to that place of peacefulness and Innocence anymore. It wasn’t so much that he “regretted” what brought him to Hell, but more so that he just regretted that he remembered how happy he was and he knew he’d never feel that way again.
