Recently spoke with my grandmother about the movie stuff and she said that she knew James Dean in real life and met him a couple of times on photo shoots. She knew a lot about him. Here's what she said:

"He used to rock when nervous, had specific interests, was never able to connect with others (his own words) and other stuff that makes me believe he was not suffering from bipolar disorder. He was just a classical Aspie"

There are very few of them, he died too young
delon was supposed to replace him in hollywood, but america just wasnt meant for alain + he had to study a language

my grandfather Paul knew him, he was a childhood friend of jean claud brially, both went to same school.
so my grandpa also knew delon , they werent really close , but they went drinking together many times, he says alain was very succesful with woman , prostitutes didnt take money from him because he was so pretty.

Once Paul asked him why he didnt go to and make a career in usa, and delon said that hollywood is not what he expected it to be, Vivien Lee didnt want to film with Alain because he was more beautiful, many directors didnt want to work with Delon because of language and his personality.

Women would mock me when I was a teenager calling me James Dean or a spooky reincarnation. Once, this psychic made a strange statement. I told her about antidepressant and antipsychotic medications. She replied, "Um, what exactly are you hinting to?"

"Ugh. It helps people." I explained.

"Uh-huh. I feel you're suggesting I should be on them. Not that it's any of your business, but yeah, I'm on Prozac."

"BOOM! Slam dunk." I walked away. I did look back, and she stood there confused—a typical female persona.

Yea a lot of actors were, but back then people just called them "cold"...

Idk if you've seen the wild one with marlon brando, but you can easily tell there is something to this theory.

[media]

i honestly think the aspie mindset doesnt need to include the social awkwardness, just the directness, the intelligence and the mild sociopath traits.
