Maybe try rebrand with lower bar. Like system support sngineer or junior sys admin at a smaller company. Also learn networking, and entra ID and bash scripting if you are going to pull this.

Resume larping projects you never build but can talk about for day's
and making up start up companies
put all your egg's into Resume/interview maxing, learning skill's that arent going to be tested via technical round is a waste of time IMO

Once your in IT, your stuck there for good,

to many niggas think from IT to SWE is just a breeze of transition when its not in reality and recruiters can tell the difference, your best hope is internal role transfer within the company

I mean I've seen people make that transition but yes there's a decent skill gap.
