Hi everyone,
I've been struggling with an asymmetrical jaw and chin for the past couple years or so. My chin looks like it is going in one direction. It’s blatantly obvious in photos and in the x ray photo below (taken 3 years ago) and I’m sure it’s gotten worse. I tried to get surgery for this, saw multiple orthodontists who told me it would most likely be medically necessary to treat, but when I saw my surgeon, he told me insurance definitely wouldn’t cover it as the mm’s were not in that state of medically necessary, therefore being an out of pocket cost of cosmetic surgery. I don’t know what to do now, and am wondering if there are things I can do (besides rope) now to fix this so it’s at least less obviously asymmetrical.
