The thing is you need big width on jaw implants as the masseter will sit on top of the implants. Usually the masseter muscle add 10-15 mm of width but for implants its litteraly just the material and skin that adds width. But the width of masseter will be a bit greater above because the implant pushes the muscle up. And this depends on how high up the ramus the implant goesJust look on google. No super large implants like this have ever looked good. R u combining it with bimax?
Yes but not always, something that i learned is that the implant shouldn't go to far from the ramus, fir example this:The thing is you need big width on jaw implants as the masseter will sit on top of the implants. Yea i mean this design is to spikey, it will pierce thru the skin and reveal reveal implant. But it depends on the soft tissue. Also the most important part is to follow the ramus down and not extend behind the ramus which this seems to do. And the chin could be widerYes but not always, something that i learned is that the implant shouldn't go to far from the ramus, fir example this:

I still think its just simply not worth it to put in big implants when u look at the results. The results from condylar torqing + bonegraft to widen during bsso look vastly better imoThe thing is you need big width on jaw implants as the masseter will sit on top of the implants. Yes because the whole ramus is widened, not just the gonions.I still think its just simply not worth it to put in big implants when u look at the results. The results from condylar torqing + bonegraft to widen during bsso look vastly better imo
I mean this is kinda meme, because they cant widen more then 5 mm, and its one of the most relapsing methods done during bimax, so say its goes back atleast 1-2 mm, 1 mm is guaranteed because thats happens all the time in bimax. The widening people see is from bimax itself. As the jaws go forward the masseter muscle will have a heavier load to hold up and which makes the muscles bigger and widen the jaw. Not because of the ramus widening itself, it does a little tiny change but not so much. And thats not even taking the condyle torquing consequence on the joint into accountI still think its just simply not worth it to put in big implants when u look at the results. Giant will look at this and think its normal

This has 0 jaw implant
Nah he said he did ramus widening and torquing along with bsso, she is literally syndrome tier in the first pic. What ur saying isnt really true if u look at BSSO results on google not many have a noticeable visual widening even if in reality they have got wider by some MMs. Also i just went on her instagram and still looks the same, really good.Yea in this it didnt widen the gonion much, its litteraly the ccw and moving the jaw forward + 4 months post op swelling that make it seem more widen then it is. When you move the jaw forward it will stretch the skin and also make it seem wider as you move it further forward
I mean most result online is within 1 year, at the start of bimax masseters get smaller because you dont chew. So it takes one year after or even more to get back and beyond the size. And also bigger movements create more widening as the jaw moves forward closer to the viewer. And the ramus needs to torque and widen a little bit then for it to fit. So even if a surgeon explicitly doesnt say the ramus will widen by a force torquing it will still widen because of the big movement. In this case she also had gonions that went outward before atleast at the bottom. Which is very rare in this cases.Nah he said he did ramus widening and torquing along with bsso, she is literally syndrome tier in the first pic.
