Jaw growth after 16, overbite

I had braces since i was 12, got them removed when i was 15 and wear aligners now that i am almost 17. I didnt wear my lower aligner as an experiment for 3 months and now that i have tried to put it on, i couldnt bcs my jaw or at least teeth position has widened. Also, after they removed my braces i developed a small overbite, but my ortho says its "perfect", he treats me like shit cause he needs to take care of my teeth for free. He also says there is no chance that my jaw / bones will grow after im 16, is he retarded or just gaslighting me so that he has less work? attached pictures are of my teeth in 2024, which my aligners are based on, upper jaw hasnt changed. is it over?

p.s. the aligners are holding place for implants, im missing 2 teeth in my upper jaw from birth
