All implants on internet have a considering drop down from 5mm to 10mm, surgerons explains that it's necessary to give jawline definition and tend to avoid a bloated result

like eppley here : https://exploreplasticsurgery.com/p...w-assessment-in-jawline-augmentation-surgery/

what do you think about it ? if someone have already a low gonial angle and don't wont to drop it more to avoid minecraft face, is something like 4mm drop enough for definition ?

You don't need vertical augmentation unless you have a high gonial angle. Not all implants have significant vertical augmentation, they could be designed to only widen the mandible and not change the gonial angle to any significant degree.

im talking about defintion here

surgerons like eppley explain that droping the implant creates more definition, because it places the angle out of the big soft tissue area, so the implant is closer to the skin, wich creates more definition

You could do that purely wtih widening.

why surgeons tell that drop down is necessery for definition then ?
i think it depends on the design, if you have a design thats really close to the mandible border and is angular you dont need to do that

also you run the risk of tearing the masseter muscle the more you bring it down but i guess if its kept minimal then its fine

Because you're going to unqualified, inexperienced doctors who are giving you bad advice.

Eppley explains that..

Plus implants without drop down are very rare
