Cause of masseter stretch etc

A surgeron told me his max was 9mm and it was hard to close it after..
So the maximum functional would be like 10mm?

@Win200 got 12mm width with his wraparound implants. Don't know who that surgeon is but he's talking shit.

So how to know what is the maximum size possible within masseter ?
ofc it depends on the persons, but nobody can implant 50mm ofc, so what's the limit

Eppley once fitted this Indian guy with a wraparound implant that was 31mm on one side and 43mm on the other side. The chin projection was 24mm, but this guy's chin was really recessed to begin with.

I'm not sure if that's the biggest one but it must be up there.

It's not about any recession, it's about what masseter and soft tissues Can tolerate.

No masseter and Even less no ligaments Can tolerate Even 20mm width.

Yes, there were some torn ligaments IIRC. He had to go back into to get grafts for the damage.
