as can see in this image JAW SURGERY actually increases the length of your mandible. I'm curious about this surgery against appliances like the twin blocker. it's claimed that it doesn't have much/any affect for increasing mandible length. But its actual "function" is to show your bottom teeth when you smile. My little brother's lower jaw came forward
He may have had already but does indeed now have a better facial convexity than me and my brothers. I also remember a noticeable improvement in definement.
Is "jaw position" a whole different thing? My ortho claims it was growth he already would have had. But is this growth as well as difference in positioning (because teeth do literally come forward) Just a more efficient way of capitalizing on any growth u have left?
