I think I have jaw problems from excessive chewing. Had this click on the right side of my face for 1 month now. Absolutely have no idea what to do! Since most people here chew, I was wondering if anyone had the same issue before, and if everything went back to normal. Cuz it has been a month and I’m paranoid as fuck. Should I see a doctor or just wait.

Problems with my right jaw which I think is most likely from excessive chewing

edit: I’m already dead

TMD? yeah google again buddy

I had this a few years ago (I was around 13-14). Sometimes, I could barely open my jaw without cracking it so hard that it felt like a dislocation. It would palpably move laterally when I felt it clicking. It just went without having to do anything.

yes but if you're worried about you health - go to doctor and don't ask here since we are not specialists and not everyone has same prognosis if there is a problem.

And that is why I dont believe this forum is high IQ.

People who needs bimax and implants are coping with chewing and fucking up their jaws and teeths

I need you to post a thread with this statement, you will get raped of this forum asap
Only thing chewing does is training your masseter muscles, nothing more is proven yet

it's definitely tmd. i've had it for multiple years now and it's been slowly going away over the last year. i don't know if you should chew while doing it. mike mew and pretty much everyone i've heard talking about this says that chewing with TMD is a bad idea.

Finally someone who has a brain. I’m not chewing now, I stopped, I’m just mewing that’s it. btw what did you do when you got it? Did you continue to chew? Or was it the last time you chewed. At the end of the day if that’s the price for a chad jaw idgaf

i did quite a lot of things in that time but mewing probably was what actually made a difference over time. maybe also correcting my posture in general. i think when i started chewing i still wasn't really aware of what my jaw problems were so i didn't really think about it much. that possibly was what caused my recovery to take so long.
