Jaw surgery AFTER you get dental implants

As the title says: is it possible? Or do you need to do the jaw surgery before you get the implant?

it definetly is. but other way around is probably more preffered by doctors.

But I believe so, most implants only go as deep as the the root of the teeth naturally go. Which is below the Lefort 1 cut.

I guess it works in theory, but what @Tallooksmaxxer is getting at: it might not be preferable. Not only for doctors but for the patient himself. The thing I am most worried about is if there will be a problem when wearing braces. This may not be a big problem if you only plan to wear them for stability for your occlusion. But if you want to fix some kind of malocclusion/crooked teeth, is may present a problem, as the implant can’t move with the rest of the teeth.
