jaw surgery for narrow jaw? or implants

if a guy has a narrow jaw and non squared chin. what type of jaw surgery would he need? it seems theres so many options but let’s say his bite is perfect (no overbite or underbite) but just has narrow bad jaw. would jaw surgery help more than implants? what would look better and increase his attractiveness.

do u think if ur jaw is narrow and barley there from side view. jaw surgery is better? i’m new to jaw surgery stuff so wondering if someone’s bite is perfect but jaw is ass. do they do DJS? is it possible to do jaw surgery to make the foundation better for implants? it’s just a lot to learn about. and why no advancement? would that mess with the bite and stuff? i’m new to learning ab this stuff. thanks for reply tho

If your bite is good but u're recessed then u do DJS and u advance both jaws in order to keep the same relationship, the maxilla has to follow, u can't just advance the mandible

ok i get it now. i was thinking of DJS then following it with small implants. has this been done before? can this give a guy a solid jawline and chin without looking cartoony? i feel if u do big implants u look weird so i was thinking of doing DJS first. but im 23 years old it seems late for that. and also, if something goes wrong. it’s almost life ruining to have destroyed jaw surgery. gotta think about if ascending is in the cards for me or not. thanks for ur answers u seem to know ur stuff

i found this dude on a surgeons site for rhinoplasty and was wondering if DJS and implants can ascend his jawline and chin. this is similar to what mine looks like.

depends on the rest of his face, but ye bimax and implants is good for him, u can also do them in the same surgery with the right implant design

How much widening can occur from torquing the ramus outwards? Nothing imo compared to what a jaw implant would do. LMK what your thoughts on this are. Haven't seen before and afters.
