Hey guys I'm not very active in this forum as you can tell by my grey name. I've been a lurker for a good couple of years, since 2020 or so when I was introduced to the whole lookism scene by a friend from a minecraft server I frequented. After looking at myself and rotting on this forum, I finally agreed with my parents to go to the orthodontist. I was SEVERLY recessed. After removing like SIX TEETH along with my wisdom teeth, I was given braces in the summer of 2023, and put on a track for orthognathic surgery to be done. Years ago I made a post about orthognathic surgery, phrasing it like I was going to have it done in a few months or something. Now almost 3 years later, the details have been finalized, and it is ready to be scheduled. Yesterday, I received approval that I would be fully covered by my family's health insurance to receive the surgery.
Details of surgery
So the exact surgeries I will be receiving are a bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy advancement, and a LeFort I Osteotomy. This will advance my jaw forward, fixing my recession, and providing length to my front profile as well. Additionally, my maxilla will be aligned and balanced to give me a more symmetrical look, and accommodate my teeth positioning.
Why it took so long
This process has taken much longer than it should have because I never wore the rubber bands they wanted me to. I thought it made me look stupid and just didn't wear them
. That's it. Looking back, I was mega retarded and shouldn't have done that obviously but whatever
Plans
The surgery will be scheduled for this summer, and I will set away 2-3 weeks at home to recover. In order to speed up the recovery process I will be using BPC157 and TB500. I want the recovery to be as fast as possible, as I am doing a door-to-door sales job this summer. (to lower inhib and get used to awkward social scenarios, and also because you can make fucking bank) Obviously a swelled-up shitter mumbling at your doorstep won't sell you anything, which is why I want the process to be as fast as possible. HOWEVER... I would rather take a little longer to heal if it meant the end result would be better for my aesthetics. I'm thinking long-term here. I also will be chomping at the bit to get back to the gym, as I am DEATHLY afraid of losing gains I have made. I will probably stay on enclomiphene for the whole process because I don't think it will mess anything up, but I'll talk to my doctors about that. I'm not going to be running any sort of cycle close to the surgery to avoid complications. Depending on when the surgery is, I may run a short RAD or CJC/Ipa cycle
, but my main concern is the surgery going as smoothly as possible. After the healing, I will evaluate my situation and determine if aqualyx is necessary, as my face does naturally carry a lot of fat.
Questions/Advice
Those with experience/knowledge about this, what can I do to maintain my gains while I LDAR for 2 weeks after the surgery? What foods should I eat and how much weight should I expect to lose? If anyone has any advice, drop it below please.
PICS
this is the letter I got yesterday about the coverage, super excited when I received it
These are my most recent x-rays, asked them multiple times to print it off or send it to me, but fuckers insisted on sending to my parents, who never received them
This is just a pic i snagged during my consultation.
as you can see im brutally recessed and disgusto chopped.

Obviously I will continue to update you all and provide before and after and recovery pics, until then ask any questions about the process or drop advice
