There is no way his masseters just expanded by clenching his teeth for 6 years. He definitely did some additional stuff to that.

Lol at this, grinding will just ruin your teeth and there's very little masseter growth. I know cus I did it for 2 years reflexively and it just made my teeth smaller with almost no change in jaw. Looksmin and he's lying 100%

You can clearly see that’s bone growth not masseters hypertrophy.

I am still convinced that clenching is superior to chewing and other shit in terms of bone growth
I myself clench on mastic and it makes my masseter hard af

I believe that the range of motion the masseters go through while being used to chew, when done correctly, is more effective than clenching, where the muscle stays contracted, with no release.

maybe for masseter growth but for bone growth im pretty sure the constant tension is better

indeed
low but constant stress makes the posterior mandible grow in with because it is one of the few areas which actually deposit bone on stress. Ramus might also grow vertically, but thats another mechanism

Keep your mouth shut and teeth together at rest. No need to clench when you have strong resting muscle tone from chewing enough. Visible bone growth other than more density after puberty? Don't expect that.

Yeah I was talking about muscle growth. Bone growth/remodeling is best stimulated, in this case, with constant pressure.

So chewing is better for masseters growth and clenching is better for bone growth?

theoretically yes. I wouldn't expect insane bone growth from clenching unless you are in puberty and stick to it. Remember that clenching (and chewing, but it is easier to overdo the fromer) can cause TMJ.

Yeah, I know about the TMJ. Would it be safe to do just 1 hour of clenching everyday?

While clenching hard? yes. It is more important to keep your teeth together throughout the day, though. It is really hard to consistently clench hard for an hour, I do it in smaller spurts throughout the day.
