I am 16.5 years old with a recessed lower jaw (4-5mm overbite), breathing issues from a narrow jaw, and a retained metal cap from childhood that has blocked an adult tooth from erupting and likely contributed to my jaw problems. My current orthodontist (not airway-focused) said I'm too old for growth appliances like Herbst based on my age, but he never checked my bone age. I suspect my bone age is actually younger (around 15), which would make me a candidate for a Herbst appliance to bring my lower jaw forward. I want to pair the Herbst with either local IGF-1 injections into my jaw or HGH to enhance growth, but I'm worried about accelerating bone maturation. Based on research, local IGF-1 seems better for targeted jaw growth with less risk of speeding up bone age, while HGH raises systemic IGF-1 and directly drives bone age advancement((possibly with MARPE), can you give me advice
