jawline visibility very inconsistent.

i'm going to make it clear that I am not attractive nor am I lean but my jawline visibility is not bad despite those factors. But, my jawline visibility is inconsistent in the fact that I can see my jawline in the mirror, and on camera but only sometimes. my friends are immature and took pictures of me from far away when I was kissing this htb foid (flexup) and my jawline was extremely visible but sometimes on camera (with good lighting) or in the mirror at some angles my jawline completely disappears. is a factor in jawline visibility on camera the distance from the camera? i'm confused and want to know the reason behind my inconsistencies.
