Im a little confused.
Whats the difference between metal and heavy metal. I thought heavy metal was the one where you can hardly understand what people are saying. Or is that death metal im not familiar with that genre of music tbh so sorry if I offended anyone who reads this

Yea that newer stuff is death metal. Technically both count as heavy metal but the songs I listed are mostly thrash metal & came out in the 80s/early 90s. Everything later than that became overproduced nu or death metal slop
