Nah imo nothing comes close to skinnyish tapered jeans if u tall w decent legs.
Jeans from what I know, but I think both chinos and linnebyxor are common during summer
I would say you need both in your wardrobe
IMO chinos almost always mogs unless you want to go for streetwear style, but in that case just wear trousers.
If you wear skinnyjeans you'll look like a tryhard 30 year old uncle. Regular fit I've seen a couple of times, mostly only see baggy jeans and a hoodie on skinny twinks or fatties.

Chinos are for a more relaxed look while jeans make you look more formal if they are straight leg ones without holes
ngl to u op, i don’t think any of those white boys were wearing chinos except maybe the first guy and even then the texture looks off. They are a hispanic mans delicacy though.
