It is but Euros should focus on engines rather than competing with Chinese who has mass scaling driving down the cost.
Like Swiss Watch Industry didn't die out because they kept focusing on mechanical/Automatic watches instead of flooding with Quartz.

i don't know why european luxury brands didn't just double down on offering classic luxury. their goal should have never been to compete with mass production cheaper brands, but rather refine their craft and continue delivering what customers are looking for. nearly every european brand has changed their design and powertrains to resemble some chinese electric car and it's killing their image.

I don't know what goes in their boardroom meetings. They are trying to appeal to China with these corny designs, TV like Dashboard and electric cars and still losing market share .
