About 6 months ago I started to wonder, If immigrants are always lying about everything and it works. Why shouldn't I???
As many users will point out on here how you are treated is determined by two things (1) looks due to halo effect and ''lookism'' as foids call it (2) social resources. People who have a good social circle also get a halo effect albeit one that isnt Imediate
Both of these things can be frauded to a degree. I wear height lifts in my shoes on top of air maxes if people point it out who know me I just say ''its the shoes''. I get about 2 inches in height. Face cannot be faked unless you get surgery, but just stay skinny and with a decent haircut. Even if you are ugly, putting effort in signals to others that you have a life. Eg if you see someone in a 1 dollar crappy top from Thailand in cheap shorts and ungroomed facial hair. You probably assume that guy is a loser. You see someone wearing good clothes a decent haircut. Even if ugly you'd assume that at least they are not a social outcast. Basically just be put together if you can. This wont get you women or anything but it will avoid embarrassment.
Lie about social interactions/experience you have. For example, never tell people if you are a virgin unless exposed for it or you cant lie, eg parents who know you dont have a gf.
People are constantly making social inferences from incidental information. If you repeatedly say:
People build an image of you from that information. You realised that there is often no practical benefit in volunteering those signals.
If you get exposed just be honest and say its embarrassing so they leave you alone. Often times I over hear people talking in my university lectures. I steal their jokes, stories and or act like my friend told me this. ''My friend told me'' in reality i just overheard this. Obviously dont be retarded, only do this around people who don't know you well. But for example im at uni. I pretend to have more friends at home than i do, I pretend to have more friends at uni than i do. I call people my friends when talking about them even if i dont know them. This will really help you fake a social circle. Be cautious about it. And if you get caught lying, just say ''I just talk like that your overthinking it'' eg I call everyone my friend.
Not elaborate fictional stories, just white lies about yourself. Or social embellishments
I do not have a successful social life, but when im forced into social interaction with strangers, am around family or the few friends from school i have this helps me to blend in. It's not like people will call you out on some story. And they do so what. Just call them weird for caring if you made up a story.
This has honestly helped me a lot into having somewhat a normal, if lonely, existence. But it has taken me out of being a complete isolated social outcast at work, family gatherings ect. People will tolerate me now, not despise my presenifce.
Additonally, lying on my CV and in interviews got me employment.
