unless your society is your family or an isolated village, there's no point. it's such a materialistic view.
in europe the civilized conquerors just raped the hunter gatherers effectively integrating the offspring and basically genociding them completely, rather than somewhere like australia where they're too phenotypically distinct to mix like that, they effectively genocided a good amount and the rest became partially integrated into society as segregated low class slum dwellers with their traditional lifestyle completely upheaved but still remnants of culture.
the value of a culture shouldn't be determined by how big of a tower they can make or how much shit they can dig out of the ground. the only work that should be done is the bare mimimum to survive healthily year after year, with the rest of the time relegated to leisure, socialization, culture.
