Higher IQ in my experience tend to overthink situations when in reality they shouldn't. You need to get used to thinking the exact amount you need to with the info you're getting. You try to do the extra logical step, trying to analyze for possible future situations that will arise , even though some variables that are in an equation (or situation to put it on irl terms) will not matter as much as you expect them to. This usually comes from assuming that others will make the optimal/or one of the better decisions macro wise, since you would probably do them yourself. It is obviously a fallacy to think otherwise, as you can only get surprised right? Wrong tbh, mid upper range IQ people (~120) in my experience tend to be the most successful result wise as they get their process down very well as to how much info is important and how much ratio of emotion / objective (As much as possible, cause I always say in here, objectivity as a concept is a scam) and rational thinking is required
