Jaw repositioning does not help with crowding unfortunately and IMDO is rarely performed
Jaw repositioning and msdo will cause tmj issues than getting tooth pulled out

Well I had my teeth shaved as well, because bimax doesn't adress crowding. And nobidy wants to do SARPE and SARME just for 3-4mm expansion, so you're basically left with shaving your teeth down a little.
Premolars shouldn't be extracted though.

I really really hope that this was a typo from the ortho and he meant the maxilla. Not that that would be much better, but it would make at least somewhat sense.

She needs ccw bimax + genio. JFL at the state of orthodontists and dentistry in general. I too had to visit 3 different orthos in order to find one willing to prepare me for bimax. First ortho said it's ok the way it is, second wanted to extract 4 premolars, third wanted to prepare for bimax right away.

when i first went to the ortho for a consultation he voluntarily told me about jaw surgery jfl he was subtly suggesting i was a recessed cuck but i was bluepilled at the time so i said that sounds painful so i wont do that

New generation of orthos knows well about expansion for children but no so much about adults. You need to find a skilled and open-minded doctor.
