carbs make you retain more water, make you hungrier and take time to digest

nothing to do with right wing bs
I ate 2,600+ calories yesterday, got 47% of my calories from carbohydrates (honestly this actually isn't even really that high. Ideally I'd like 60% of my calories to come from carbohydrates and my fat intake to be more like 20%. But I have the natural tendency to enjoy eating a lot of fat. Eggs, milk, cooking oil, peanut butter, butter, cream, fried chicken, donuts, cake, cookies, chips, cheese puffs, brownies, chocolate. But to low-carb freaks, its considered high). And I weighed in 144.4 lbs this morning after peeing and taking a dump. I weigh myself every morning and this is the lightest I've weighed-in at since May 31st. And I'm actually trying to bulk, I'm not trying to cut or even maintain. The water retention thing with carbs is over-stated.

I find that I have to eat a shit load of carbs in order to retain lots of water. Like when I went for all-you-can-eat sushi with my then-FWB 3 weeks ago eating lots of rice, tempura, fried chicken, those fried breaded balls, etc. and went for a big Italian dinner with another date the night before eating lots of pasta and bread, I ballooned from 146.4 lbs to 150.2 lbs in 2 days of gluttony. And then I pissed all that water weight away eventually. And am now back down to 144.4 lbs. lmfao.

When I was cutting last year, I was hungry for like the first week or so doing calorie restriction. But then after that my body got used to it and I rarely get hungry anymore. And my diet last year was very carbohydrate heavy. More so than now. I wouldn't be surprised if 60+% of my calories came from carbs back then. I wasn't getting my protein in back then because I didn't know what I was doing nutrition wise and eating low-fat or fat-free variants of food to reduce calories.

Also I take 5g of creatine monohydrate daily. So I'm deliberately trying to retain water weight so that my muscles look fuller and I can get more reps in at the gym.

oh god not this stupid bs again
is this blackpill circa 2018? :lul:
Chad eats pizza. There's nothing wrong with eating pizza within moderation. 20% of the calories from a pepperoni pizza come from protein. You could do way worse. That's perfect bulking food actually. My personal favourite pizza with creamy garlic as the base sauce, spicy Italian sausage and mushrooms for toppings is only 18% calories from protein and 250 calories per 98g slice. I eat 2,600+ calories and 118 grams of protein per day so I only need about 18% of my calories to come from protein anyways.

Not every single meal and snack you eat has to be high in protein and micronutrients.

I could slay an entire 12" sausage mushroom melt pizza by myself. That's 2,000 calories. Though it's been a long time since I've actually slayed a pizza like that. Back when I used to be a 160+ lb fat sedentary rotter. I just have to make sure to take it easy for the rest of the day. And I would need to make a vegetable smoothie or something. Because if I devote 2,000 calories out of my budget to pizza, chances are I'm going to be deficient in several micronutrients for the day.

Its still fine but far from optimal. 10-12% is way healtier. There's a reason why male models go below 10% most of the time. It helps wether you are chad or not. But yeah, you can easily be sub5 at sub 10% bf. Still can help a lot of guys tremendously tho.

I was referring to bmi. I just looked it up apparently body fat percent is different from it
