The main reason better looking guys have better jobs is becuase these guys were born in wealthy suburbs that produce better looking kids with better IQ and send these men to good schools. It actually has little to do with their looks but overall to do with their upbringings in good schools and with good smart parents giving these men a good IQ and good connections.
I would 100% argue that having good looks won't actually do all that much for you if you are trying to go for a good job
There are countless amounts of good looking men working in hospitality and in construction/labouring living very average lives, being good looking will not help much.

I think there might even be fields where good looks can be bad, like some tech jobs. Being good looking or w/e will bring up lots of envy in nerds. They will also think you have a life and don't sit around at your computer 24/7.

Studies into physical attractiveness show that on the job you will be given greater responsibility over projects that can lead to promotion. I read the book in my signature a while back I don’t remember it off hand, but the effects on the job and probably getting the job are legitimate.

Like tonight I was at a bar, and this is why I made this post, the guy bartending was late 20s broad shoulders muscular and had a model face. There is literally no incentive for a boss of a company to hire a better looking guy who is less smart than an uglier guy who is smarter. And plus people aren't stupid, a boss can see if a good looking person isn't smart or something. A good looking friend of mine also works in construction, he gets a lot of girls but that is literally one of the only benefits.

Yeah but that's not what lookism is about. It's not that the boss will choose the worse looking one, but that the broad shoulders gl one would be percieved as better (more confident, more 'adult', more competent) than a narrow shouldered short ugly man. Though if you want to be specific there are things like high trust low trust high iq low iq.
Overall though, if you are gl you will be percieved as better in almost every way. People won't choose you over better options, they will think you are the better option.

You’re thinking about this too rationally. The mind is automatic. Just like women lust and salivate over the masculine sexy features subconsciously, so too does the boss. He just won’t admit it and may at best try to fight his urges.

This is completely false, your looks are directly correlated to your success in employment.

10 people interview for the job, 8 of those are capable of doing the job, the interviewer picks the person who fits the company image the best which is often the best good looking.

Good looking person acquires more experience over time due to more opportunities given. Hence is now qualified for more jobs. Its a positive domino effect. Ugly person who is qualified lacks experience and opportunities so settles for shit non progressive job.

People want to be around and hire good looking people. Anyone can do most office jobs.

Yes in the end the ugly becomes manager at age 45 or something only because they tanked it out for 20 years wheras the attractive person has moved onto better things like running their own business, travelling, passive income, enjoying life etc.

I am living proof of this, I went to over 30 job interviews over 8 months and got rejected as no wants to hire an ugly ethnic, even though my experience and qualifications mog the shit out of everyone.
