Your brain has gotten so used to seeing your face it doesn't make sense anymore; it doesn't look like any other face you see on the street and recognise as human.

I knew this phenomenon existed with words so I just searched it up regarding faces, since it seems to be the same mechanism/concept and there it is.

I also like how I look. But than when I come here, and get a rating they all put me back into muh place. Because exposure, can maybe make oneself look better.

I recall reading. People tend to think of themselfes (or at least appraoch) people 25-percentile better than them. So maybe mot of us, think we are 25 percentile better than we are. Although people here, get more reality checks, so I guess it's more like 15% here.
