I don’t know what the creator of that forum was expecting honestly. He didn’t even bother making it any different from .me
Lookism was slow as shit two years ago and it was mostly aspies spamming their shitposts in a big bold font, so there was a legit reason for this forum.
Looksmax was a younger, faster, more aesthetically pleasing version of lookism with it’s own (albeit similar to lookism) humor and it was a place where looksmaxing actually stood central. Not so sure if it is anymore but it’s why this site attracted so many users in the first place.
That site is just a Walmart copy of this one without any added value. It’s mostly just people from here shitposting and asking to get rated.

Good summary. i remember the days of lookism taking minimum 10 seconds to load every time. and those bold font essays holy crabs. yeah you are right about this forum being better in some ways and not just a ripoff. this forum has its own unique lingo, like i think the evolution from "tldr" to dn rd was done here for example.
