I (kickbox/jiujitsu), my friends (2 muay thai and 1 kickbox/jiujitsu aswell), we sometimes go out as 4 and we don't want to mess with a group of 9+, we always de-escalate the situations.

muay thai is better then, in a streetfight you don't want to go the ground, and in muay thai you use elbows, knees everything

there is always the chance you get taken down, so learning some bjj basics would be ideal for it then
