There is no ambiguity once properly translated from the Greek the father according to Christ is the one and only God and the American standard version and berean literal translation shows.the word monou means from the alone,single,mere and by himself.
It's funny how Christians will look at Jesus own words even post resurrection like In revelation where Jesus said the father was his god and say it's quoted out of context .
