Joining the special forces of my country

Currently in college and studying, i just got sent an email from the belgian army asking if i was interested in joining the special forces either here or in Austria, this little rush of sending everything to hell and joining its probably the most dopamine I'm gonna get in my shallow and empty life

I'm enlisting as a 12N (US Army) very soon. Heading to my first MEPS visit soon, not sure how long I am gonna stay in DEP but if I get done with BCT and end up not deleting I could give you some info on what the training is like at least. Not sure how much the military is different over there.

How is the pay ?

anywhere from 2k to 5k euro, that's why I'm hesitant, I've heard about better pay in Australia as a reserve 1CDO

I honestly wanna do full time, but reserve would only be my chance if my mind clocks in and i want to start a family

I have relatives who have served in australia in the 2CDO, their only advice for me was to do shit ton of push ups and chin ups, but then again this is the SFG so I think it'll be even harder

If you're american id tell you to train a whole year and jump to green berets, sounds like shit but thats like hitting on the hottest chick at the pub, you never know
