Jonathan was a 27-year-old underachiever living in Ottawa when he suffered cardiac arrest one day in his apartment on the first floor. Doctors told him that he had at most 3 months to live unless he could afford expensive treatment with an advanced pacemaker. Having no family, spouse, kids, or close friends and wasting most of his life on the internet instead of making money, he could not afford this treatment. Jonathan thought it was over for him.
As a last ditch effort Jonathan began posting his story online in hopes of receiving charity. One day he was contacted by a 17-year-old living in the Philippines who told Jonathan that his father could provide him with the advanced treatment for an affordable cost. When all was over with, Jonathan found his pacemaker not only got him back to normal, but gave him immense energy unparalleled to anything he had felt before in his life. Jonathan began hitting the gym and became one of the most muscular men alive before creating a successful career as a famous physical trainer and spokesperson.
Jonathan’s pacemaker could only run on a specific isotope of uranium which the Filipino scientist only had a limited supply of. Jonathan was abusing his pacemaker’s power by using much more uranium than necessary so as to get much more energy and therefore all the great things his energy was getting him. When the scientist ran out one day Jonathan had to conduct elaborate heists on government uranium reserves which were highly successful because of his pacemaker-heightened intellect. With this much greater supply Jonathan began using even more uranium which he poured the energy from into obtaining even more uranium.
Jonathan found one day that he had effectively heisted all the uranium on the planet whilst also neglecting his career, family, friends, and life otherwise to the point that he had lost everything but his uranium. Jonathan then found that his uranium had grown into a pile so great, it had reached critical mass and caused a nuclear explosion at his Antarctic warehouse. Jonathan soon died of a massive heart attack, reflecting in his last moments on the irony that he had used up all of his energy on obtaining more energy.
