In the books, during the chase to rivendell apparently frodo tells the nazgul to fuck off back to mordor, and they reply that they'll take him with them. The movies really did frodo dirty, turned him into an almost completely useless damsel in distress type character @BrahminBoss

I see what they were going for with movie frodo bur book frodo was a completely different character tbh. If they wouldn't destroy any remake I'd like to see them redo a book accurate version

Book frodo is like a sharp aristocrat fish out of water, who still gets a few badass moments. Movie frodo was just whiny and beta. They kind of reversed frodo and Sam by making Sam the braver one and he feels like he should be the hero
