God's view and plan for physical Israel and Israelites was never meant to last permanently.
Same with animal sacrifices.
Or the many rules and obligations of the old covenant besides the 10 commandments.

Instead sooner or later people from all nations were to be blessed and become God's people as long as they believe in the Messiah/Jesus.
