He trains the whole movie to fight the guy and during the match he starts to lose and get beat up toward the final round and he fades out a bit and he has a flashback of his trainer (who died) telling him to never give up and slowly he comes back to his senses and sees his wife and child cheering him on in the crowd and starts to finally beat the guy up and knocks him out

Judgeandjury the type of detective who spends his whole life cracking cases and retires, only to be recalled for one final mysterious case, leading him on a hunt for a serial killer, finally culminating in a car chase where his body swings violently side to side while steering trying to keep up in his shitbox old Ford, then finally cornering the killer, gunfight ensues in which the killer shoots his arm but judgeandjury manages to headshot him while wounded. The camera fades to him sitting on a park bench in the sunset while he lets rip the corniest monologue in history and the credits roll.
