I've always said that the best way to gauge if something has gone completely mainstream is to evaluate the concentration of women in the fanbase. This observation applies especially strongly to Jujutsu Kaisen, arguably the most popular anime of the last few years.

I believe that the creator, Gege Akutami, has conducted a masterclass in intentionally attracting women to his animanga, and a major way he's accomplished this is by reinforcing women's beliefs.

The apex of power in Jujutsu Kaisen is Satoru Gojo, who can only be described as 6' 4" Chad (if you go online women do not stop going crazy over the guy). Within the first 10 episodes of the show, you can already see him killing ugly ass manlets

People may dismiss this as a one off thing, yet they couldn't be further from the truth. Of the top 10 most powerful characters, 9 of them are 6ft+. The final boss demon of JJK, Ryomen Sukuna, is 7 ft tall with 4 arms and 2 mouths, towering over all the teenagers fighting him, once again showing how power is proportional to height in this media.

The main character is a teenager in the show, and constantly gets roughed up, as he is only a teenager.

Eventually, after decades, MC becomes the new apex of Jujutsu in the sequel manga, conveniently growing about 8 inches (to 6' 4"), alongside the newly introduced fucking ~7 foot chad (shown below) who is overwhelmingly stronger than everyone around him.

Even the strongest WOMAN in this show is 6ft+:lul:

IF YOU DONT CARE ABOUT THE EVIDENCE SCROLL TO HERE

Now that you've seen the evidence, I'll explain why I posted this.

Akutami has tapped into the innate female desire for tall chad by making every single strong character tall and GL. Women literally cannot comprehend ugly manlet winning any kind of fight or recieving any sort of praise, power, or authority in the world, and by reinforcing this idea, I believe that Akutami has meaningfully increased the popularity of his show (and got the bag), while indirectly propagating the beliefs of heightism present in today's world

TLDR: JJK creator put a bunch of tall people in his show, making it super popular among women
