Julius Caesar--The Ultimate Self-Absorbed man--had it coming. He was too full of himself and could have easily prevented his assasination.

This nigga got warned on multiple occasions both spiritual and literal. Even if he ignored the spiritual one the literal was infinitly more trusworthy.

1. About a month before his death a fortune teller had prophesised his death yet he ignored it. On the day of his death, Caesar reportedly joked to Spurinna, "The Ides of March are come," to which the seer replied, "Ay, they are come, but they are not gone".

2. His wife had a dream and warned him, told him not to go to the senate meeting in which he was assasinated.

I do not really blame him for the above because they are prophecies.

3. A man stopped him on the way to the meeting and gave him a scroll, which he ignore. The scroll contained parts of the plan of the assasination. Simply opening and reading this could have saved his life, but no. He was to egoistical.

All of the above can be confirmed by this: https://penelope.uchicago.edu/Thayer/E/Roman/Texts/Plutarch/Lives/Caesar*.html

He is a prime example of the human ego and how we believe we are superior to eachother.

But he could’ve lived a longer life of glory. Who knows what kind of accomplishments he’d make if he lived

All great men in history were egotistic in some degree and it both led them to their success while also bringing about their downfall
