I don't understand why nigga here say this. Maybe it's because they only talked to western born ones but gooks are not low T or weak. They are short yes but they are pound for pound very strong. They consistently dominate the lower Olympic weightlifting/wrestling/boxing etc classes because of better tendon insertions, shorter limb levers and lot of mass being packed onto their frame. South East Asians are not weak. It's East Asians gooks like Koreans and Japanese that are weak. Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Han Chinese, Filipinos are pound for pound some of the strongest people in the world.

Yes I agree, but pound for pound is different then absolute strength which is heavily tied to overall body mass and we know that most asians lack this.

They look non threatening especially when u pair that up with their height.

If they did better in higher weight classes they would be more respected.

I don't disagree.

I've always thought that pound-for-pound rankings/assessments are cope, though.

At least, insofar as they lead to any meaningful action.

"The ant (or whatever) is the pfp strongest living thing." - but I crush them by accident.

Fighting promotion pfp rankings... cool, DJ is sick, but a top 15 HW would smash him...

unironically pound for pound goes to blacks and if you want to talk about absolute strength polynesians are at the top

Size is quite overrated in fights. Size only starts becoming a big factor when both sides of the corner are more or less equal is skill which is usually not the case.

Blacks aren't strong. They are just most atheletic. Pound for pound polynesians, Iranians, Icelandics and Han Chinese are the strongest. Basically islander genetics.

It's not overrated.

It's baked into sports.

Weight classes.

For regular (more so random sample) folks. Yes. 100%. You are right.

They have a higher proportions of fast twitch muscle fibers relative to other races.

Do not include combat sports into that, most of those guys are not that skilled and if you have a very elite fighter in anyweight class he can beat opponents from higher weight classes with easy but most can't because they are trash which is why people think weight matters a lot for fight but it doesn't.

Someone with really good defense and offense at 135lbs in mma can beat most fighters in 155 and 170lbs with ease, I would say 95% the other 5% no because they might be too big and skilled.

Nah brother...

It's for nearly every single, individual sport.

You're just making up hypotheticals.

Why not refer to what we see when people compete out of their weight class???

when they compete out of their weight classes they excel if they are skilled, a lot more for combat sports.

You are just trying to remember the rare cases when a fighter moved up and beat their opposition.

It's selection bias.

There's a reason there's no open weight category in major promotions anymore.

Joshua Van the jungle gook is a current UFC champion and the only East Asian heavyweight boxer is Zhang Zhilei.

Yeah I know most people don't do it successfully because you have to be really skilled to do it.

But that doesn't mean that says is a necessary condition to win those fights with larger people. it means that those people are not skilled, the rare cases show this.

Unless someone really is like 60lbs more than you then yes that person will most likely lose unless the other is trash but if they are 30lbs or if 45lbs they can win if they are very skilled.

Why cut weight then?

Seriously think about that...

Why do fighters get close to death every fight?

For an extra couple of pounds.

No. Most strong men are Icelandics not Scandinavians or nordics in general. Only Icelandics specifically because of Islander genetics.
