Cutting the corners of your lips won't lead to any effect except ugly scars, A real mouth widening surgery makes extremely deep cuts and repositions the lip skin and literally reconstructs the muscle needed for the mouth to function without growing back normal skin.

You can't DIY this.. i mean you CAN, but maybe with pain killers and months of surgical experience.
