Just found out about lens disortion

Took a back camera, no zoom, 1,8m distance pic of my face. Turns out my fwhr is 1.78 rather than 1.5

The gist is, there's no lense distortion for the human eyes

Except these cameras do because they're meant to be versatile and long lasting and cheap, not designed with a trillion nerves like our eyes.

Although certain mirrors can be angled incorrectly, dirty or concave/convex shaped which can make you look different in them than reality.

Lens distortion is when the photos tooken from a lense are shitty


Distortion means somethings different or corrupted, more distortion is more difference than IRL

More MM of lense tho decrease distortion. Thicker lense capture better
