This happened in 2020 and it went completely unnoticed, there was absolutely no info back then in the media, on TV, newspapers, etc. No explanation was given for the new law, no debates, interviews, no referendum was held, etc.
Now they are starting to arrest and send people to prison left and right for having sex with minors, many who were completely clueless about the new law.

in Germany even if you‘re 20, you can get problems with law by sleeping with a 15 year old. 15 year olds are allowed to have sex with peers. If you are 18 and she is 17 it‘s ova for you.

Here in America there is a common belief that transporting age 16-17 across state lines in order to navigate around age of consent laws is illegal.

People deliberately hate the idea of men being aware of these laws because it’s obvious men are gonna go for the bare minimum and if the men get screwed the mindset is “serves them right don’t fuck minors.”

People are just so petty about moral policing.
