Just got dutasteride. I will take 1 capsule/day for 4 weeks until it has built up in my system and them lower it to 1 capsule every 3 days, or once per week stacked alongside finasteride.
Hopefully this will clear up my adult acne and get me back to NW 0, since it suppresses even the type I 5AR that is primarily on the skin.

Edit: I am not recommending this. I am just doing an experiment. Chill.

The chance of side effects of dutasteride is by and large the same as finasteride. The type I 5AR is mainly active on the skin, not the penis. Even suppressing it during puberty should not be a issue. This is why teens can take Accutane (type I 5AR inhibitor) and still develop fine. However, if you block the type II 5AR during puberty, it will result in a micropenis.

How is dutasteride suboptimal? It is more affective than finasteride and is FDA approved in Korean and Japan for more than a decade.
