if ur 8 maybe
shouldnt, all they do is stop teeth from being moved back into place naturally.
could cause some stress on your facial bones but should be enough to block forward growth anymore than your braces did.

No, all a retainer does is hold your teeth in place. No effect on the jaw.

nope, not at all. at that age most facial bone growth is in the end stages, itll just ride out a little to maybe 25, but most major growths have been done for atleast a year atp.
