Was at a work meeting with about 50 employees in an auditorium, during an intermission, I was making small talk about our next assignment location(navy) with a 7/10 5'7 white guy, (i'm blk 5'5 4/10 psl via wheat waffles), and a 5/10 asian woman sitting two chairs over immediately cut into the conversation asking about his recent assignment, and whether he knew other people who lived there. He tried his best to make eye contact with me, but his attention eventually shifted to her entirely. She never even acknowledged my existence. I just sat there in silence for the remainder of the day.
Funny enough, when we split up into our smaller groups in a different room, the three of us were again assigned at the same table.
anyway, know your place and don't escape it.
