Just got rejected for a CT Scan. How hard is it to get?

Pagnoni gave me a CT Scan referral late last year.

Tried to book an appointment recently in Aus, and they said they need a GP referral because there is so much radiation, it can be dangerous and local doctor needs to refer.

Rang my GP 2 days ago and he said he can't give it to me because it's cosmetic, not a medical issue.

WTF, what is this nonsense? I even said I'm happy to pay full price and they declined.

They want me to fly to Italy for a fucking CT Scan?

Just go to a maxfac near you for a consult, find one with a cone beam CT (CBCT) machine in house. One max fac in NZ does consult for $150 and a scan for $150 in his office lol.

Ok but do all Bimax surgeons request the same type of CT scans? ie if I take it to Alfaro or Pagnoni they won't say "you need a different one"? The stupid bitch made it sound like it was very easy to get wrong...that If they do the wrong type of scan I'd need to come in for another one
