What are you actually trying achieve? Treating Acne? Tretinoin does most of the work and Alzelaic acid just makes the process bit faster and both of them works on Acne, Hyperpigmentation, and treats Post Acne Marks.

I recommend you to use Tretinoin and Estroil, which much better combination and targets two different things at same same.

To use the Tret + Alzelaic, Just do the sandwhich method for first 1-2 weeks, and use it 2-3 a week, then increase the frequency to each alternate days, like Tret>Alzelaic>Tret>Alzelaic.
Make sure to use a barrier repair moisturizer and rich too cause tret can fuck up your skin barrier and cause alot of dryness. SPF 50 is must because tret will make your skin sensitive to sun.
